The workouts are demanding and will certainly put body and mind to the test, but Peter and Chris ensure that no matter how hard you push, pull, burn and hurt through the day’s workout, you will truly have some fun.
As a kayaker paddling some of New Zealand’s hardest rivers, I must be in top physical and mental form. There is no training regimen that I have found that compares to CrossFit to prepare me for hucking off big waterfalls and staying focused during kilometer after kilometer of seething whitewater.
The CrossFit Christchurch community is a great place that includes people of all backgrounds and skill levels all coming together to truly become better people. After training with Chris and Peter for a while, I am more flexible, stronger, faster and truly in the best shape I have ever been in. Today was sad. The building will be condemned. So all the gear had to come out.
Big thank you to Todd, Pat, Chris, Brian, Anna C, John P and Chris’s friend (sorry can’t remember your name, sorry!) for the help this afternoon :-)

A sad day for Christchurch… and a sad day for CrossFit Christchurch.
